We are excited to feature this custom home in the heart of Park City. The home is located feet from a ski lift at Park City Mountain Resort. This multi-level home contains 2700 square feet of 5" Hickory flooring with an Ebony Rosewood Stain and a Magic Oil Finish. We also installed 44 custom treads and risers to all of the stairs (4 levels in total!).

Hickory wood is very hard, stiff, dense and shock resistant. There are woods that are stronger than hickory and woods that are harder, but the combination of strength, toughness, hardness, and stiffness found in hickory wood is not found in any other commercial wood, making Hickory an obvious choice for a durable ski home with added elegance and modern look. The application of the stain and finish allowed us to keep the beauty of the floor and protect it against the elements.
